Intergalactic war…. Embrace it….

Don’t you sometimes wish for a life changing disaster? A disaster that would force you into a more exciting life? Well I do…. You see, I feel that life in this modern age has sucked all the adventure out of life. No longer can you start a journey to find out who you really are, without first taking out a massive loan from the bank just to fund your petrol, you can’t just start walking either, I mean is it possible these days to just walk and camp when you get tired?  The answer seems to be NO… No ones wants some stranger camping on their land, let alone have someone hunting on there property. You’d probably go okay in the farming areas, but whats would happen in a place like Johannesburg? I highly doubt anyone is gonna let some wanderer just camp in there nice suburban garden. Sorry i’m starting to drift away from the story, but i was trying to get across is that, society and all it’s laws will try to stop you from living your dreams.

Now.. Back to the global disaster. I feel that say a intergalactic war would once again unite the human race, by giving us something to fight for. Something to live for. Everyone would be forced to work together, race and social stature would all be forgotten, and if you won the war, the world would be a better place for it. Of course if we lost the war, mankind would be enslaved and forced to do all manner of hideous things for our ET overlords.

I know the chances of this happening our slim, especially in our lifetimes, but it something to roll over in the back of one’s head.
